How we use AI

Nordic Ecolabelling may use artificial intelligence to help analyze and sort documents sent in by companies applying for the Nordic Swan Ecolabel.

When an applicant sends documentation for Nordic Ecolabelling to review, the documents may be fed into an AI solution to sort and match the information with the requirements Nordic Ecolabelling has set for such products and services.

All documents are examined by an expert at Nordic Ecolabelling. AI does not make any decisions about whether an applicant has met a requirement set by Nordic Ecolabelling.

All data processed by AI is treated confidentially and stays within Nordic Ecolabelling. It is not used in the training of any large language models.
