Public consultation on Stoves

During the consultation period, Nordic Ecolabelling gives you the opportunity to comment on our proposal for new criteria for stoves.
Nordic Ecolabelling are revising the requirements for stoves. You are welcome to respond to the proposal no later than 17 April 2026.

A compilation of the consultation responses, with answers from Nordic Ecolabelling and the names of the responding organisations, will be published on the Nordic Swan Ecolabel web page.

- O3-O5 Chemical requirements
- O14 Emission to air and efficiency
- Stoves and insert appliances – emission of OGC and efficiency
- Stoves and insert appliances – emission of PM according to EN16510-1
- Slow heat release appliances – emission of PM
- Pellet stoves – efficiency
- Testing – order and number of burn cycles to be considered in the calculation of the mean value of the relevant emissions (CO, OGC, PM) and efficiency.
